Release history
What changed in Klavuni from version to version. The newest is at the top.
Klavuni 1.3
New
- Snippets: the Snippets tab in Settings and ⌘L in the ⇧⌘V panel. A plain snippet pastes for free; a snippet with fields is part of Pro.
- Search a history row in the browser: ⌘G in the panel, “Search in the browser” in the row’s menu, ⌘⌥ on a row in the Klavuni menu. Pick Google, DuckDuckGo or Bing on the Clipboard tab.
- Delete a history row from the Klavuni menu (⌥⇧ on the row) or from the row’s menu in the panel.
- ⌃⌥L with nothing selected converts the text from the start of the line to the cursor into the other layout, up to 500 characters.
- “Buy Pro…” in the Klavuni menu and on the Licence tab opens the Price section of this site.
- The Pro update window: versions released within 24 months of purchase keep Pro forever; newer ones can be installed and run as Free, and Klavuni asks before offering one.
Fixed
- Your own transform chains can no longer be erased when Settings is opened before they have loaded.
- ⌃⌥K, ⌃⌥L, ⌃⌥Z and ⌃⌥V wait up to 2 seconds for you to let go of Control and Option instead of refusing; ⌃⌥V no longer pastes while they are held.
- ⌃⌥Z after ⌃⌥K no longer breaks a word that had a space after it.
- Licence tab: a failed activation no longer overwrites the licence holder line, the error sits under the key field, and Activate is off while the field is empty.
- ⌘X, ⌘C, ⌘V, ⌘A and ⌘Z work in the fields of Settings and the panel.
- The Settings window no longer shrinks too narrow for all its tabs.
Klavuni 1.2
- “JSON with indentation” finds JSON in messy text too: inside a code fence, a log line, a quoted string.
- A new transform, “SQL → formatted”, in Pro.
Klavuni 1.1
- Text cleanup before pasting, in Pro: extra spaces, line breaks from a PDF, lines into a paragraph, indentation.
- The paste queue, ⌃⌥V, and merging marked clips, in Pro.
- The character inspector, ⌘I, and comparing two clips, ⌘D, in the panel, in Pro.
Klavuni 1.0.0
- Suggestions and automatic correction while you type work in Claude too.
- In terminals Klavuni only suggests, and no app rule changes that: text typed there can run as a command.
- ⌃⌥E on the plate after ⌃⌥K now really stops correcting that word in that app.
- The context menu and the transform menu open above the panel, not under it.
Klavuni 0.9.1
- App rules: for each app, As everywhere, Manual, Hints, Auto or Off, and whether to keep what is copied there.
- ⌃⌥L converts the whole selection into one layout.
- Panel rows show the icon of the app they were copied from, and their ⌘1…⌘9 key.
- With ⌥ held, a menu row becomes “View in Full…”.
Klavuni 0.9
- ⌃⌥K fixes the selected text or the word before the cursor; ⌃⌥Z undoes the correction.
- Clipboard history in the Klavuni menu and the ⇧⌘V panel, with search; the history database is encrypted.
- ⌃⌥T transforms the selected text: eight built-in transforms, and your own chains, in Pro.
- Suggestions and automatic correction while you type, in Pro.
